Viereck-Verlag operates an online shop for origami paper and books about origami. The software on which the shop was based was no longer being developed, and the design no longer matched the look and feel of a modern web shop. A revamp was needed.

WooCommerce or Shopify?

There are many shop systems available, and choosing the right one is not easy. For small and medium-sized shops, the choice usually comes down to one of two candidates: WooCommerce or Shopify. WooCommerce is a free extension for WordPress, while Shopify is a kind of ready-made complete package that you can adapt to your needs.

You can usually access the WordPress login by adding /wp-login.php to the URL of your website. It looks like this: https://your-domain.com/wp-login.php

My favorite online shops
There are a number of online shops that I wouldn't want to be without. They offer products that perfectly match my wishes and expectations: Freshly roasted coffee at Cafe Fausto, Organic flour from regional cultivation at the Hofbräuhaus Kunstmühle, and high-quality animal feed from Lunderland for my picky dog. Or, on a more international basis, amazing wool from Iceland at KnitKnit. (Customs fees may apply.)

Behind these shops are small to medium-sized companies that value quality and origin. Oh yes, I almost forgot about the seeds and plants from the Herb organic nursery (Biogärtnerei Herb) in the Allgäu region. Old, open-pollinated varieties produce the best tomatoes.
